Will my site appear on Google?
All the sites that we design are search engine optimised (SEO), we usually see client sites appearing in Google search results within 2 weeks of the site going live, of course like every other web design company we have no control of when Google will add a site to its search results.
Where is my website designed?

How much input can I add to the design of my website?
This is entirely up to you, we welcome all input you may have, but if you want to leave it entirely up to us you are also welcome to do that.
I'm not a technology orientated person, but need a website can you help me?
Despite its popularity the Internet has only been in the mainstream spotlight for the last 15 years so it's still fairly new, there are lots of people who are unfamiliar with it. But don't worry we can help right from the design process to managing your site afterwards, and provide you with as much assistance as you need. We deal with the majority of our clients over the Internet and phone, but are equally happy to have clients visit us, and for clients that don't have an email account we can help set you up with a free one.
What if I need more support?

Do I need to meet you to have my site built?
No, we build 99% of our sites without ever meeting the client, but we make it a point to visit clients if they have a store, or are putting a show or event on.
For very large projects it is important to meet so that we can work effectively and we will arrange several sessions over the course of a month, you can come to us, we can visit you on your premises, or we can arrange a suitable alternative, whatever works best for you.

What's a domain? and how much does one cost?
The domain is the technical term for the top level website address, for example our top level domain is LWwebdesign.co.uk. Of course you can have .com, .net and many others. Typically a domain costs between £2.99 and £9.99 a year. With all our packages you get at least 1 domain free for a year.

How long does it take to build a site?
For the majority of sites its’s less than 30 days.
How does the design process work?
Most projects are started off in one of three ways depending on how much work the client has done before contacting us. You can either send us all the information you have along with any notes on how you want the website to look or we can send you a web design form that you can complete. Alternatively we can get the notes we need over series of telephone conversations.
Once we have that initial brief we will use it to create the first version of the website, this will normally take about 5 working days. Once you have seen that you can tell of any changes or comments that you have and we will make as many of the changes as we can.
Once you are happy with all the changes the website will go live, and we will make the relevant submissions to the search engines.
What happens if I want to make small changes once the site has gone live?
Generally we expect that most clients will want some small changes made after the site has gone live and they have had a good chance to really play about with it and get feedback from other people. As such we allow a 30 day grace period to make small changes where we can.
